Is this OCD (obsessive compulsive) already? I'd have to guess it is unusual for a 20 month old to be so dedicated to putting things in their proper place just so they can bang them again with a hammer. I find it very amusing and keep watching to see if he ever slips up. Not yet, so far.
And one other note...from what I've read, I think we can say now with some certainty that he's a lefty. I didn't think you could tell this early, but apparently by 18 months you definitely know which hand a baby favors. (Learning to write in school isn't the determining factor because many lefty's learn to write with their right hands in school.) But the hand they use to throw a ball, hold utensils, and do most major work with is the hand they favor and while he still uses both hands for things, his strongest and most preferred hand is undoubtedly his left, which is the hand he uses to throw a ball, hold utensils, color and draw with. Drew and I are both right handed and so are all of our immediate family members, so if this revelation holds up, life just got a bit more interesting. I think it is pretty neat. :)

That is absolutely hilarious! I love the very dramatic pose with the hammer right before whacking them in :)
